What is a QR code sticker?

A QR code sticker is a printed, adhesive label containing a scannable QR code. Businesses stick them on tables, counters, packaging, posters and products so customers can open a menu, pay, follow a page or get information with one scan. Our free QR code sticker maker creates the design; you print it on sticker paper with any home printer or a dedicated QR code sticker printer.

How the QR code sticker maker works

  • Enter your content — a website link, WhatsApp number, payment ID or any text becomes your QR code.
  • Choose a sticker size — from compact 25 mm labels to large 50 mm stickers. The tool automatically calculates how many fit on one A4 sheet.
  • Download the PDF — a perfectly aligned A4 sticker sheet, ready for printing and cutting, or for standard pre-cut label paper.

Do I need a special QR code sticker printer?

No. Any inkjet or laser printer works — just load A4 sticker paper (available at any stationery shop) and print the PDF at 100% scale. If you print stickers regularly, a thermal label printer like a Brother QL or Phomemo model prints them on rolls without ink. Our PDF works with both: the QR codes are generated at high resolution so they stay sharp at any sticker size.

Where people use QR code stickers

  • Restaurants & cafés — table stickers that open the digital menu.
  • Shops — payment QR stickers at the counter for UPI and mobile wallets.
  • Products — stickers linking to manuals, warranty registration or authenticity checks.
  • Events — registration and feedback stickers on posters and badges.
  • Small business — "Follow us" stickers on packaging that link to Instagram or WhatsApp.

Need hundreds of different stickers at once — for example, one unique QR code per product? Use our bulk QR code generator to convert an Excel or CSV file into QR codes in one click.

Frequently asked questions

What size should my QR code sticker be?

For scanning at arm's length (tables, counters), 30 × 30 mm works well. For posters scanned from a distance, choose 50 mm or larger. Never go below 20 mm — small codes are hard for phone cameras to read.

Will the stickers scan after printing?

Yes — the PDF embeds each QR code at high resolution with a proper quiet zone. For best results print at 100% scale (not "fit to page") on white sticker paper, and test one sticker with your phone before printing many sheets.

Can I print these on a roll-type sticker printer?

Yes. Download the Single PNG instead of the A4 sheet, then import it into your label printer's software (Brother, DYMO, Phomemo etc.) and set your label size there.

Is the QR code sticker maker really free?

Completely free — unlimited sheets, no watermark, no signup. Everything is generated in your browser, so your links never leave your device.
